The Jansen Project is a world-class potash development located approximately 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. As one of the largest potash projects ever developed, Jansen is positioned to become a cornerstone asset in the global fertilizer industry and a critical contributor to long-term food security.
Designed for large-scale production, the operation is expected to produce approximately 8.5 million tonnes of potash annually upon full ramp-up, with significant opportunities for future expansion. Potash is an essential nutrient for crop growth and sustainable agriculture, making the project strategically important in supporting the increasing global demand for food production.
Backed by BHP’s technical expertise and long-term investment strategy, the Jansen Project represents a major commitment to developing critical agricultural resources. With its scale, longevity, and growth potential, the project is expected to play a vital role in supplying high-quality potash to global markets for decades to come.
