The Rainy River Project is a large-scale gold and silver mining operation located approximately 65 kilometres northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario, within one of Canada’s premier mining jurisdictions. As a cornerstone asset in New Gold’s portfolio, the project provides meaningful production capacity while offering significant opportunities for future resource growth and exploration success.

The operation is supported by a modern processing facility that incorporates crushing, grinding, gravity recovery, cyanide leaching, carbon-in-pulp (CIP) processing, carbon stripping and regeneration, electrowinning, and doré production. This integrated processing circuit is designed to maximize metal recovery while supporting safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.
