How It All Began
Bedrock-Service was inspired by giving project owners alternatives to the standard project delivery models of the past and driven by delivering the highest standard of professional services.
Bedrock-Service was incorporated in 2014 by a group of experienced capital project professionals who recognized a need in the mining industry to improve project performance.
The average life cycle for a mining capital development project is between 3-10 years. Not many professionals stick around from the start to the finish of a mining project, let alone effectively carry forward lessons learned to the next project to deliver value. In addition to the challenge of time, remote locations, long hours, hostile environments, low pay and career uncertainty have discouraged many of the best and brightest from joining and staying in the mining sector.
Our name serves as a reminder of our foundation in building on our expertise and as a cornerstone for the standard of excellence we aspire to.
Our logo, which features a mining tool, represents our hard work in getting to the foundation and discovering hidden value. It is fused with a pen, representing our commitment to professionalism in our communications. The grey color characterizes our support services, which are always in the background. The grey color suggests our years of experience, a vague reference to grey hairs.
