The Neves-Corvo Mine is a world-class polymetallic mining operation located in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal and is recognized as one of Europe’s most significant sources of copper and zinc. The operation produces high-quality copper, zinc, and lead concentrates from a series of underground deposits that have supported decades of successful mining activity.

A key milestone in the mine’s ongoing development was the Neves-Corvo Zinc Expansion Project (ZEP), which significantly increased zinc mining and processing capacity to approximately 2.5 million tonnes per annum.
